Quick and Simple Physics

Mr Cosy put the helium heart balloons leftover from Valentines to give E a quick, very simple physics lesson. He asked her to add paper clips to the balloon string until there were enough to keep it in one place. A fun and visual experiment in equilibrium!

We didn’t go any more in depth than that, it was the kind of ad hoc, opportunistic ‘lesson’ that will help everything fall into place when we do approach physics in more depth, and chemistry too with the effects of helium vs gravity.
